A global media brand had no visibility of their enterprise data set. They couldn’t see who had been accessing data, who could access the data, or even what the data was. They were worried they were paying vast amounts for storage they didn’t need.

HANDD deployed a Data Governance solution that scanned network fileshares for content. The Administration dashboard enabled our client to see who was accessing data the most (Data Ownership), who could access it (Access and Permission Management) and to be able to remediate and secure permissions. Stale data became identifiable which enabled the company to remove it or to change it to cheaper storage solutions.
